Mednovus Releases MRI Safety Update Newsletter
Mednovus, Inc., vendor of MRI pre-screening ferromagnetic detection instruments, has just released their MRI Safety Update Newsletter, an electronic publication focusing on the latest tools, standards and practices relative to safe and effective MRI imaging.
Leucadia, CA, February 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Mednovus' new electronic publication, the MRI Safety Update Newsletter, was just launched on February 3rd, 2009. The new publication, already distributed to a world-wide client base, will be made available without charge.
"There are just so many changes occurring in the realm of MRI safety," says Tobias Gilk, Mednovus' President and Director of MRI Safety. "There are the new Joint Commission requirements, new standards documents from the Department of Veterans Affairs and the American Society of Healthcare Engineering, forthcoming building code changes... it's all too much to count on 'word of mouth' to get it across the industry."
"We hope that the Newsletter, and the special opportunities it presents, are of value to our readers," offered Gilk. The inaugural issue included information on a free preview web-based seminar introducing the new Joint Commission Environment of Care requirements for MRI providers.
Though the frequency of publication has not yet been fixed, the MRI Safety Update is intended to be released at least quarterly. "As someone who daily gets over 100 emails, I respect that most people we send this to are probably also e-swamped, too," says Gilk. "We won't send out newsletters with puffed-up content just to make some artificial quota. So when readers do get it, they'll know that the Update has some real, substantive information in it."
Information on signing up for free subscriptions to the MRI Safety Update Newsletter will be added to the Mednovus website (www.Mednovus.com) in the days ahead.
