Los Angeles, CA, February 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Hollywood based company Fortune Films has attached Sunu Gonera to the motion picture STASH. The project is now in the final development phases and exploring locations world-wide including Europe, Australia, Canada and the U.S.A.
The multi-million dollar thriller is set to shoot in mid-year with casting decisions currently underway. Director Sunu Gonera was formally attached to the project late 2008 and is repped by ICM and Mosaic Media. Global financing discussions are in progress with possible distribution and co-production partners. The script is currently going through final revisions and pre-production is expected to begin late spring 2009.
The company recently completed a two year development phase on the project and began packaging the product late 2008. Former ICM agent-turned-producer Eva Longtaritsch was attached in December 2008 and brings talent and packaging expertise to the production. Caspar von Winterfeldt was recently in Sundance to promote the picture and met with financing and distribution entities. “We are very pleased to be able to push ahead on this picture and are looking forward to working with Sunu and allowing him to breathe life into George’s words”.
Ernst-August Schnieder, wrapping up the release of “Punisher: War Zone” for Academy Films, was on location in Brazil to explore possible synergies with the Brazilian Film Commission. “I feel confident with the team on board that this film can have a tremendous commercial impact given its scope and dynamic. Fortune Films is working around the clock to put this film together”.
