The Student Prophet: Initiation Rites Combines Classic Adventure with an Ecumenical Message for a Powerful Novel That Will Engage Readers and Keep Them Wanting More

Camp Hill, PA, February 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Author James Nicholas Logue’s new novel, The Student Prophet: Initiation Rites, offers readers of all ages a timely universal story of faith, endurance, hope and friendship that will leave them both encouraged and inspired.

For Jeff Fitzpatrick, a teenage boy from Ann Arbor, Mich., the uncanny sense when something is just not right has been on the rise ever since his mysterious premonition of the Sept. 11 attacks, several years earlier. Now a freshman at Penn State at State College, he struggles to grasp his emerging gifts of prophecy and begins an incredible journey of faith that will take every ounce of courage he’s got. Soon recruited by the FBI, Fitzpatrick learns to develop his special gifts as a force for good in the world to uncover drug cartels and terrorist cells. But his efforts have also attracted the wrong kind of attention—and those menacing dark forces prove to be increasingly dangerous.

But the Father in Heaven is carefully watching his new prophet, chosen for his courage, faith, compassion and humility, and ensures his progress is secured by the watchful eyes of his entrusted scouts, Michael and Raphael. As his special talents evolve, Fitzpatrick begins to piece together the significance of his gifts, as he’s caught in the middle of a rivalry between forces of good and evil thousands of years old.
