Team Evanston’s Girls Soccer Squads Named to Play in the Las Vegas Mayor's Cup International Showcase
Evanston, IL, February 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Team Evanston soccer club today announced that two of its girls’ Premier teams have been selected from soccer clubs across the United States, Canada and Mexico to participate in the Las Vegas Mayor's Cup International Showcase taking place February 14-16, 2009 in Las Vegas Nevada. Participating squads, including Evanston Premier 16- and 18-year-old groups, are named on the Mayor's Cup website. Team Evanston is a competitive community-based soccer club that is committed to training players to perform at their best in a team environment.

The City of Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup International Showcase is an opportunity for teams to compete before college coaches and recruiters from around the country. The leading college soccer recruiting website, www.captainu.com, will provide player profile books that will be handed to all college coaches who attend.

Team Evanston is a competitive community-based soccer club officially founded in 1991 through the merger of Evanston’s two premier traveling youth soccer clubs – Gross Point Soccer and Pele Stars.
