Slava’s Snow Show Scores High with via3pr

New York, NY, February 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- via3pr announces its success with its marketing and publicity campaign for Slava’s Snow Show on Broadway. The PR company was appointed by Foster Entertainment to carry out the campaign geared towards the Russian American target market throughout the tri-state area. Slava’s Snow Show was publicized in 27 different print media outlets which included Spanish and Chinese papers, as well as English speaking local newspapers and magazines.

Among other work, via3pr coordinated interviews with Slava and the producer of the show on television and radio. Four TV reports were aired about Slava’s Snow Show’s opening night the week before its appearance, and five TV interviews along with two interactive radio interviews took place. In addition, other information and pictures were placed on three websites and one social network, all which helped spread the spirit of the show.

via3pr made Slava’s journey to Broadway an unforgettable one, by developing a plan for publicity where we generated some articles before the show opened to get the word out to the Russian American community, established sponsorships, wrote for blogs, and found infomercial sponsors within Russian American media outlets. “My show is about bringing happiness to all people no matter the language or the background. I am of Russian upbringing and noticed there were a lot of Russian Speaking people who attended the show, about 30-40 percent, who expressed to me the joy they received from the performance” says, Slava Polunin. During the show’s limited engagement, after one of its evening performances, a press conference was held, where reporters of different Russian American media after having the opportunity to see the show, were invited to have a private session with Slava himself to answer questions. All the reporters who attended were eager and excited to speak to Slava and by the end of the night, they all thought of him as a “genius.”

“It was a very rewarding experience to be part of the show which is well-known around the world, and be able to bring joy to many lives, which is one reason why the show was successful in regards to publicity. The collaboration between Foster Entertainment and via3pr, was very professional and had a fast-paced work ethic. The agency is happy of the excellent turnout we have seen as a result of our dedication to the show.” states Irina Shmeleva, President of via3pr.

Through the use of these communication mediums, time and effort, the PR firm was able to get the message out which resulted in many families attending the show, bringing joy throughout the holiday season, and as well, contributing to Slava’s recognition of his great work and performance on Broadway.
