ERGOdynamics Looks for Greater Market Awareness, Launches New Website

Eugene, Oregon based, small manufacturer of custom designed machines and material handling equipment announced the launch of a new web site today to reach market's beyond Oregon.

Eugene, OR, February 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Successful new products have local manufacturer looking beyond Oregon’s borders.

A successful new product called GoLift has an Oregon company exploring ways of reaching new customers. Myrlin Deveraux, President of ERGOdynamics and division of Great West Companies of Oregon, a small manufacturer of custom designed machines and material handling equipment announced the launch of a new web site today. The old website really wasn’t designed as a selling tool. It was more of an electronic photo album. “We needed an affordable way to introduce our products to customers on a national level” said Deveraux. In the fall he began looking for an internet marketing specialist which led him to Ishbel Lane. Together they collaborated on what the message should be and how best to present it. One challenge they faced was how to show the variety of products designed and built by ERGOdynamics and not to confuse the customer. Products ranging from ergonomic chairs to small forklifts didn’t seem to fit well together on the same website. A design idea was borne of that collaboration, two websites in one. The home page has a distinct split between the industrial and the office products side. "It just seems to work". Click on your area of interest and the site transitions you comfortably to an appropriate looking page, the feel is similar to walking from the front office with office chairs and cubicles into the warehouse or back office with an industrial feel.

ERGOdynamics has a new product called the GoLift that is driving this new marketing push. It’s a small, self propelled, walk behind mobile lift; something like a miniature fork lift. It easily fits into elevators and though doorways so it provides power lifting in the smallest of areas. As companies look for ways of cutting costs and preventing on-the-job injuries many of the products designed and built at ERGOdynamics are just what they’re looking for. Worker safety is good business.

ERGOdynamics who specialized in designing and building machines and material handling equipment developed the GoLift. Their creative skills and knowledge of ergonomics have been right on point when it comes to solving work site injury potentials. A solution for a single application has resulted in a product with wide reaching appeal. GoLifts can be fully powered or all manual. They can lift up to 500# of weight and have several optional attachments. One attachment will actually dump the trash for you while others provide special breaking requirements or lift other objects like gas cylinders or rolls of various material.

“When a forklift is too much and your back isn’t enough, a GoLift is just right”, says Deveraux.
