Helen Szollosy, Owner of LAFOLOT, Announces Her Book, Life is a Song or Growing Up with the Embarrassment of Prejudice Has Just Been Released

Helen Szollosy's intention is to motivate and inspire others through speaking, writing and singing. Her book was inspired by her childhood experiences of racial and cultural bias within a hardworking, loving family of 7 children during the mid 1960s. The book shows how prejudice and bias can be learned and imitated, but not necessarily felt. The author shows how becoming aware of prejudice and bias behaviors can help to remove them and make Life a Song.

Mechanicsburg, PA, February 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Helen M Szollosy (owner of LAFOLOT a motivational-inspirational speaking, writing and singing personal business), having grown up in a small Steel town of multi-cultural diversity and racial tension during the civil rights movement of the mid-1960s - explores her impressions of the adult behavior around her, at the time. Helen takes you through a 4-5 year olds confusion over racial and cultural bias and prejudice, into her adulthood, showing how becoming aware of racial and prejudice practices can be unknown until revealed, by loving friends. The author presents a combination autobiography and philosophical discussion on not realizing the racial and prejudice behaviors we inherit, but don't necessarily feel, how we can become aware, remove them and make Life A Song.
