UKFast Gets Highest Best Companies Award
UKFast has gained three stars in the Best Companies To Work For accreditation scheme. This is the top standard which is reserved for "extraordinary organisations."
Manchester, United Kingdom, February 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Managed hosting specialist UKFast has gained three star status in the Best Companies To Work For accreditation scheme. This, the top standard, is reserved for “extraordinary organisations” and is rarely given to businesses in their first year of entry.
Almost 800 UK companies applied to receive star status and only 55 large, medium and small size businesses achieved three stars, placing UKFast at the pinnacle of British workplaces.
Only a handful of hosting providers have gained the accreditation with UKFast placed as the only three star managed host for 2009. Rackspace Hosting appears in the list with two star status.
“It is a great honour to appear in this list. Achieving three stars in our first year of entering is fantastic,” says Lawrence Jones. “When the pioneers in the hosting industry such as Rackspace are managing two stars it is a phenomenal feeling for UKFast to be enjoying the top flight. We’ve grown UKFast with particular emphasis on delivering the best customer service, which relies upon an enthusiastic and motivated workforce. This accolade is a testament to the talent we have managed to attract,” he said.
“Through investing in training, team building, regular appraisals and social activities, we encourage every team member to fulfil their potential. They’re trained to think innovatively and this reflects in their dedication to both the company and our clients.”
The Best Companies’ remit is to make the world a better workplace and assesses companies through a series of questionnaires at both a management and team level. Their methodology has been specifically developed to help employers better understand today's workplace issues and how they relate directly to their own organisation.
