MUSIC NOT POLITICS, Money Island and Trax Music Resource Center present Music Awareness 2009

100 hours of continuous live music held in a virtual platform streamed all over the world.

North Manchester, IN, February 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Music Awareness is a live concert event like no other. In 2008 MUSIC NOT POLITICS organized the first Music Awareness event held in the virtual metaverse known as Second Life. For 52 hours non-stop live performances captivated world wide audiences, reaching people in and out of Second Life. Using streaming technology anyone with an internet connection was able to tune it.

The Music Awareness 2009 event is scheduled to begin on April 10, 2009 at 6pm PDT. This year’s event will go down in history as Washington DC Rocker Kevin M. Thomas kicks off 100 hours or continuous live music featuring performers of all genre from all over the world.

The event will take place on Money Island in Second Life. Space is limited to 200 people at the actual event however more than 20 venues in Second Life including Bay Vista, Cuddler’s Cove, Sicily, and Z’s Music Club and many more will be simulating the audio stream. Several internet radio stations including BZoO, KONA, and Butterflies will be live streaming portions of the event. Stream details will be made public so anyone anywhere with an internet connection can tune in and hear history in the making.
