FastTrack Scouting and Florida Association of Basketball Coaches Team Up for Florida-Gerogia JUCO All Star Showcase and All Star Game
Fasttrack Scouting and Florida Association of Basketball Coaches (FABC) are proud to announce that they are teaming up to host the 2nd annual Florida-Georgia Juco All Star Showcase and All Star Game on Saturday, March 14, 2009 in Central Florida.
Orlando, FL, February 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In association with the National Junior College Athletic Association Region VIII, Region 17 and Florida Community College Activities Association, this one-day event will feature the top 100 players in junior college basketball from Florida and Georgia.
All Star Game Players will be nominated by their coaches and then selected by a committee. All Star Showcase Players must be approved by their coaches to participate. Fans can vote online at FABCHoops.com or FasttrackScouting.com for their favorite Slam Dunk participants. The Slam Dunk competition will be held after the All Star Game. All rosters will be posted online on March 5th.
Tip-Off is at 12:00 PM on Saturday. The fast-paced showcase will continue throughout the day, ending with the All Star Game and Slam Dunk competition which starts at approximately 5:00 PM. Doors open at 9:30 AM. Players will arrive at 10:00 AM for registration, warm up, stretching and recruitment workshops.

Fasttrack Scouting will be providing live video streaming coverage from center court of the showcase on the Internet all day long. All live and taped footage will be available at FasttrackScouting.com. College coaches and national scouts will be present and/or will be watching the action live online.

As always, Fasttrack Scouting and Florida Association of Basketball Coaches events are a family friendly atmosphere where there will be plenty of good food and cold beverages at the concession stand and exciting action on the court. Spectators are welcome: adults are $8/for the day, students are $6/for the day and children under 5 are free. Parking is free. Coaches packets are available onsite or online.
