Directory-Owners.Com Launches

New Directory Owners Discussion Forum finally launches

Manchester, United Kingdom, June 30, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Just earlier this week, a new web forum that allows directory owners to come together to discuss different aspects about owning and operating a web directory, launched. The forum features sections about starting and monetizing both link and article directories, and has its own marketplace, where people can offer their directory submission services. In just three days, the forum already has over a dozen members who have made nearly 50 posts.

Directory-Owners.com not only features a discussion board for people to talk about the business of operating web based directories, but features a directory of its own where people can list their own sites for inclusion. When asked why he created the site, directory-owners administrator and founder, Daniel Mullins said, “When I first started out in the web directory business, there was a lot I did not know, and thought it would be great to have a resource where I could learn more about setting up a successful directory. So, I started the forums at directory-owners.com to help other people who are new to directories get the information they need and to create a web site, where those who were experienced in operating directories could share their ideas and tips with others.” Site user Jim Smith found the forums to be very helpful. “It’s a nice little community”, he said, “It’s a great place to find any information or ask any questions I may have regarding the subject.”

You can join the forum and learn more about creating and monetizing your own web directory at http://www.directory-owners.com.
