ESI & PUMP-FLO Solutions Present PUMP-FLO X at 25th International Pump Users Symposium
Lacey, WA, February 12, 2009 --(PR.com)-- PUMP-FLO™ Solutions (An Engineered Software Business), the leading provider of pump selection software to the fluid handling industry, will attend the 25th International Pump Users Symposium, in Houston, Texas on February 23-26 at the George R. Brown Conventions Center. PUMP-FLO Solutions and Engineered Software representatives will be on hand to demonstrate the latest version of the PUMP-FLO program - PUMP-FLO Version 10 (PUMP-FLO X). The Pump Users Symposium is an annual event sponsored by the Turbomachinery Laboratory, combining educational lectures, technical sessions, and exhibits of companies in the pump industry.
“The Pump Symposium helps us connect our business with other industry leaders to strengthen ties and share ideas with top-notch pump community members," said Michael Blondin, COO for Engineered Software, Inc. “Our big focus is to let people know how PUMP-FLO’s Cost Calculation features can lead the pump selection process down the green path, and allow users to potentially save thousands of dollars on operating costs by showing where operators can lower the energy needed to run their pumps.”
This year the Pump Symposium is featuring seminars on pump technology, maintenance, performance, troubleshooting, operation, and purchase of pumps. Among the most interesting new features to be highlighted in PUMP-FLO X are the Operating Cost Calculator and the more than 100 pump manufacturer catalogs available for use in the program.
“Every big company in this country is looking for ways to cut costs and if we can show them how significant savings can be made by simple pump selection, and proper motor and pump sizing, then we want to help,” said Ray Hardee, Chief Engineer for Engineered Software, Inc. “This software is an asset for pump manufacturers and distributors as well, used mainly as a sales tool for generating leads for pump sales.”
PUMP-FLO Solutions will be located at booth #529. Michael Blondin, Chief Operating Officer, and Christy Bermensolo, Vice President of Engineering both from Engineered Software, Inc. will be present.
