Indigo Consulting Launches Usability Lab
User Experience Labs go beyond best practices to create designs and layouts that are driven by data from real users.
Mumbai, India, February 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In an effort to add value to their design development skills Indigo consulting has launched an in house usability lab. This lab would conduct usability testing on designs amongst target users and suggest the most effective designs and layouts.
In the clutter of interactive agencies operating in the Indian market Indigo Consulting believes that this step would differentiate its offering not only in terms of enhancing its total offerings but also contribute to its ever increasing portfolio of work. As Reshmy Kurian head of the Lab predicts “Usability is the future. As data analysis for decision making became the norm with the introduction of the spread sheet, design and layout based on user and usability analysis will become the norm once testing facility is available within interactive agencies.”
Reshmy goes on to state that “Today User Experience Studies are an option. Very soon they will become imperative.”
