Newly Released Living Budget Pro 2009 Offers Budgeting Help for People Struggling in This Economy

This slow economy is causing people to rethink their spending, and develop budgets to weather the storm. Unfortunately, budgets and budgeting programs have not been an overriding success for individuals, and have caused some to shy away. Living budgets provide a new level of visibility making it easier for individuals to see their income potential, and thusly set achievable goals.

Palmdale, CA, February 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- CLB Systems LLC recently released Living Budget Pro 2009, a software program designed to help people succeed at creating and following through with budgets.

Today’s economy is forcing people to consider developing a spending plan (budget) to help plot a direction through this turbulent time. There are a variety of reasons why people don’t budget, the list includes: complexity, numbers not adding, commitment, and prior failures. Other reasons include people not recognizing the value of budgeting, and lastly people who don’t want to restrict their spending habits. It appears that the current economic climate is applying pressure to this last group of people, and it may cause them to reconsider their position.

The budget process can be divided into three main areas, each of which can be further divided into sub-processes; these main areas are: creating the initial budget, tailoring (fine tuning) the budget, and maintaining the budget. This software minimizes the complexity of these processes by providing a unique level of visibility and functionality.

Living Budget Pro creates and manages living budgets. A living budget is defined as: the evolving statement of financial position laid out in terms where one can easily manipulate its various components and see results across all periods within its scope, which is typically a year; differs from a budget in that proposed solutions are easily discernible by virtue of the layout. Basically, a Living Budget is a method of displaying personal finances in a contextual, editable format where one can easily see the potential of their earnings.

The software offers a couple of options for creating a living budget, which makes it easier to get to the actual task of tailoring the budget. Once created, a living budget displays all the budgetary information in context by period for the year. Edits made to an existing income or debt source (I-D source) can be applied to one, many, or all periods. Creation or deletion of I-D sources is straightforward. The ease of which these changes can be made makes it easy to create many what-if scenarios, and tailor a budget that actually meets desired goals.

Lack of commitment and failure to follow-through with the budget can be attributed to a lack of vision and goals. The software provides a label on the main workspace that displays the family’s income/cash potential. The financial potential label will immediately expose the family’s ability to set and achieve goals.

The software has a built-in check register that makes updating the living budget easy. All check register entries automatically update the living budget. Upon exiting the check register one can easily see if preset goals or upcoming non-discretionary expenditures have been compromised. This makes it easy to adjust upcoming discretionary expense items to keep on track.

The uniqueness of this software relates to living budgets. Budgets don’t easily allow for deviations and unexpected expenditures, which cause people to give up. Living budgets are designed to support and expose the ramifications of these unexpected expenditures, providing a means for the individual to change future expenditures, and essentially balance the budget.
