Filmmaker G. Tyler Reaches for Political Top-Spot with His Latest Film
"I can only hope that the President would find the overall concept of the film to be interesting, at the very least," says G. Tyler, whose film bio includes Hollywood legend, Mickey Rooney.
Hollywood, CA, February 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Filmmaker G. Tyler, of WhoKnew Entertainment Group, Inc, is reaching for the political "top man" in his latest film, "Laws On Paper."
The film, written by G. Tyler, is an original story about a southern Judge that upholds a 200 year old judgment because of his own prejudices. As a result of the obscenity of his judgment, modern day educated African-Americans nationwide come to the South to protest, ironically by creating a mock "slavery" environment to prove a point.
President Barack Obama is seen in the film's poster and trailer as the prevailing symbol of the film's irony.
"I can only hope that the President would find the overall concept of the film to be interesting, at the very least," says G. Tyler, whose film bio includes Hollywood legend, Mickey Rooney.
"His unprecedented presidential win has seemingly cracked the armor of traditional racism in America. My film serves to examine hypothetical scenarios that are as outlandish and surprising, to some people, as a black man becoming President of the United States."
The trailer and poster (viewable on the site www.whoknewent.com and You Tube), is just one of the many works Tyler showcases.
