ShindigZ Receives “Party Retailer of the Year” Award from Greetings Etc.
ShindigZ party supply company based in South Whitley, Indiana has been awarded the title of “Party Retailer of the Year” in the online-only category from Greetings, Etc. The company has an over 80 year history and since its founding in 1926 has been part of over 20 million events.

The award honors the party supply company that was started in 1926 by Hubert Stump. ShindigZ is based and operated out of South Whitley, a small town just outside of Fort Wayne, Indian. Local lore has it that during the Great Depression, Hubert Stump was down to his last nickel and rather than buying a loaf of bread, he placed the money in the church collection and the next day came up with the idea of the Memorie Booklet, the prom favor that started it all.
Since its quaint start, ShindigZ has grown to be a part of over 20 million events. Current owners, Shep and Wendy Moyle, purchased the company in 1990. In 2006, the company officially changed its name from Stumps to ShindigZ to symbolize the fun that it brings to both its employees and customers.
