Steve Katz Joins BankInfoSecurity.com to Offer Insights

Dean of Information Security, Steve Katz, to Post Insights on the Business of Security on BankInfoSecurity.com.

Princeton, NJ, February 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Information Security Media Group (ISMG), publisher of BankInfoSecurity.com and CUInfosecurity.com, announces that Steve Katz, a pioneer in information security, is coming aboard to offer advice to scores of professionals, via an exclusive web log.

A veteran of the financial services industry, Katz has led information security initiatives for Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase and Merrill Lynch. Since 1985, he has counseled a range of security vendors on topics related to information technology risk management and customer confidence and privacy.

Deeply respected within both the financial services and security industries, Katz has testified to Congress on information security issues and was appointed as the Financial Services Sector Coordinator for Critical Infrastructure Protection by the Secretary of the Treasury. Steve currently serves an advisor to Deloitte.
