Award-Winning Novelist Coming to SAPC Writers’ Forum
Laurinburg, NC, February 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Award-winning novelist, poet and short story writer Ted Wojtasik will be the featured reader at the Fortner Writers’ Forum Thursday beginning at 8 p.m. in the Orange Main Lounge of St. Andrews Presbyterian College.
“Ted Wojtasik is a breath of fresh air on the creative writing scene at St. Andrews,” said Writer-in-Residence Ron Bayes. “Not only is he a fine writer and teacher of both fiction and poetry, but he is an innovator of the first order.”
The visiting professor of English and writing has published two novels, several poems and critical essays during his tenure at St. Andrews that began in 1999.
Wojtasik holds a B.A. from George Washington University, an M.F.A. from Columbia University and a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina.
The Fortner Writers’ Forum is free and open to the public.
