Atlanta, GA, February 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Hathaway Construction Company, Inc. commenced construction on a 264 unit Class A apartment community in Knoxville, TN. The project is owned by The Legends at Washington Pike, LLC, a subsidiary of United Residential Properties out of Macon, GA.
The project is well located in the center of a 100+/- acre master planned development on Washington Pike on the North East side of Knoxville. The Legends at Oakgrove is conveniently located with excellent interstate access as it is within close proximity to the I-640/Washington Pike intersection and several recently constructed shopping centers, including Target.
The project, to be named The Legends at Oakgrove Apartments, will consist of 264 market rate apartment units. It will feature 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units, a resort style pool, a clubhouse, fitness center, media room, gated access and other attractive amenities. The clubhouse is expected to be completed in the summer of 2009, with leasing commencing shortly thereafter.
