Luxury Limousines Receives Award of Environmental Excellence

Sacramento, CA, February 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Luxury Limousines of Sacramento has received the Green Ride Global Award of Environmental Excellence for Overall Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Reduction.

To be considered for this award, a chauffeured ground transportation company must have demonstrated that they will exceed their annual GHG emissions reduction targets through the implementation of a robust environmental sustainability program.

Early in 2008, Luxury Limousines of Sacramento committed to annual GHG emissions reductions of two percent per year from 2007 levels. To date, the company is on track to achieve a nearly ten percent reduction Steps they have taken toward this goal include improving fleet fuel efficiency, reducing electricity consumption, adding a hybrid vehicle to their fleet, and implementing a waste reduction program.
