Amber Alert Issued for Florida Boy (Diego Batista) Age-2

Springfield, IL, July 06, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and The Winterhaven Police Department have issued an amber alert for a missing two-year-old boy. 

Authorities believe Diego Batista may have been taken by his mother's ex-boyfriend around 2 :00 A.M. Thursday morning.

Authorities are looking for 38-year-old Javier Tapia. He is five feet, five inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a gold or silver four door Honda with Florida tag A29 3VJ.

Anyone who sees the man is asked to call the Winter Haven Police Department or 911.
