The Endeavor for Hope Foundation Raises Money and Awareness for Africa: Hosts VIP Party Fundraiser to Support African Cause at the Hotel Icon to Raise >$5000
The Endeavor for Hope Foundation (“The EFHF”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, whose mission is to “provide access to education in rural Sub-Saharan Africa,” hosts invite-only VIP party on Saturday, 3/20/09 (7 –10 pm @ Hotel Icon, Downtown Houston). Event is also the Exclusive VIP Pre-Party for DJ Pete Tong/Deadmau5’s concert. The party will raise awareness about The EFHF as a nonprofit charity, as well as the need for support for basic education in rural Sub-Saharan Africa
Houston, TX, February 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Endeavor for Hope Foundation (“The EFHF”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, whose mission is to “provide access to education in rural Sub-Saharan Africa,” will host an invite-only VIP party on Friday, March 20th, 2009 (7 pm – 10 pm at Hotel Icon in Downtown Houston). This event will serve as a Pre-Party for DJ Pete Tong* and Deadmau5’s performances at Bar Rio.** The party will raise awareness about The EFHF as a nonprofit charity, as well as the need for support for basic education in rural Sub-Saharan Africa. 100% of all proceeds raised during this event will go towards the shipment of textbooks and teaching materials to primary and secondary schools in West Africa and towards the operating costs for The EFHF.
The event will mix culture, nightlife and electronic music while gathering a large international crowd that supports the cause of education in Africa. African-inspired music will be provided by three of Houston’s own top electronic DJ’s-- Amanda Robinson, Benzo and Esteban Torres. The event will also feature a live art painting by Micah the Artist, a Silent Auction and a live Igbo Tribe (Nigerian) Dance Performance. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served. A minimum door donation of $25 is required for invited guests.
The media is encouraged to participate in what promises to be a fun, charitable night to help raise awareness for rural Africa’s educational needs.
