Gulf Coast Western Announces Additional Gulf Coast Drilling Activities
In addition to multiple well completions they have underway, they have large working interest positions in two 15,000+’ test wells that are currently being drilled; one on the central gulf coast of Texas and the other on the central gulf coast of Louisiana.
Dallas, TX, February 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- “Gulf Coast Western continues the ambitious drilling activity initiated in the fourth quarter of 2008 with increased activity in the first quarter of 2009. In addition to multiple well completions we have underway, we have large working interest positions in two 15,000’+ prospects that are currently being drilled; one on the central gulf coast of Texas and the other on the central gulf coast of Louisiana. We have already encountered good gas shows in both wells and have additional well locations in the prospect areas that, when combined, have several hundred billion cubic feet of natural gas in potential reserves if successful. We expect to log these wells in the next 15-30 days and, if the technical data validates our expectations, it will be a tremendous start to our 2009 year,” stated Matthew H.
