Foster Web Marketing Names William “Buster” Tate as Chief Operating Officer

Buster joins Foster Web Marketing after a highly-decorated thirty two year career as a civilian member of the Department of the Navy. He comes on board with experience in advanced Information technology, web development, project management, marketing, financial analysis, and customer service.

Some of Buster’s previous career highlights include his time served in Iraq, where his work with the local Anbar province, the largest province in Iraq, led to the stabilization and revitalization of their local government and infrastructure. Buster was able to secure $300 million in housing reparations for war damage, establish a provincial web presence, automate government processes, and execute $107 million in infrastructure projects. Buster’s engagement with local tribal leaders and assistance in the reconstruction of the local government was a significant factor in controlling the insurgency and stabilization of the Sunni province, the business model he utilized is now part of the military doctrine that will be used by military forces in future stabilization and counterinsurgency efforts in post-conflict countries.

Buster was recently awarded the Secretary of Defense Medal for the Global War on Terrorism, as well as the Distinguished Civilian Service Medal, the highest award that can be presented to a civilian member of the Federal Government.

Before Buster’s efforts in the Middle East, he was responsible for organizing Navy’s Quality of Life program, he developed a series of highly-successful business ventures to support military personnel and their families. These ventures included golf courses, marinas, various food and bar operations, bowling centers, movie theatres, child development centers, sports complexes, fitness centers, housing developments, family service centers, and various special events such as national level regattas, concerts, and festivals.
