The 1st Annual Kansas City Music and Entertainment Conference Showcases Some of Kansas City’s Most Talented Up and Coming Artists

Kansas City, MO, February 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Weirdos Music Group is proud to announce the 1st Annual Kansas City Music and Entertainment Conference. This event will take place Friday, May 1 – Sunday, May 3, 2009 at the Kansas City Convention and Entertainment Center in downtown Kansas City, MO.

The goal of the Kansas City Music and Entertainment Conference (KCME) is to educate attendees about the music industry, expose independent artists to the marketplace, and develop various outlets for success. Chosen attendees will have the opportunity to showcase their talent to individuals and companies in the entertainment industry that are able to help advance their careers.

The music conference will promote social responsibility by raising proceeds for a local non-profit organization. The winning contestant of the Teen Talent competition will have the opportunity to choose their favorite non-profit organization(s) to donate proceeds, as well as record a music single with a well-known production team.
