Raleigh, NC, February 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Laura A. Schoppe, president of Fuentek, LLC (www.fuentek.com), has announced that Dr. Nannette Stangle-Castor, client product manager for the firm, has joined the advisory board for Alfred University’s Women’s Leadership Center (WLC). This program offers the university’s female students the opportunity to explore and fulfill their leadership potential personally, professionally and in their communities. By bringing powerful female role models to campus and fostering connections between female students and AU graduates, WLC creates leadership-building experiences both in and outside the classroom.
Stangle-Castor leads partnership development efforts and is the life science lead at Fuentek. Her key clients include NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA’s Johnson Space Center, NASA’s Stennis Space Center and the University of Iowa. Stangle-Castor’s recent efforts include prioritizing portfolios of more than 250 life science technologies each for two major research universities; developing a user’s guide for technology infusion for NASA’s Innovative Partnerships Program; and designing, implementing and executing a streamlined online submission process for the Partnership Seed Fund of NASA’s Innovative Partnerships Program.
A recognized expert in the technology industry, Stangle-Castor recently addressed the value taking a new product development (NPD) approach to open innovation when engaging in collaborative research and development at the 59th International Astronautical Congress in Glasgow, Scotland.
“I am excited to join my alma mater’s Women’s Leadership Center advisory board,” said Stangle-Castor. “The skill-building workshops and mentoring programs offer female college students invaluable insight as they develop their leadership skills.”
