The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Boca Java.com Hit Milestone in Continued Partnership
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Boca Java, Inc. today announced a new milestone reached in their continued partnership. Through its charitable efforts and product positioning, Boca Java’s contribution to the fight against the diseases now exceeds $75,000.
Palm Beach Gardens, FL, February 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- LLS and Boca Java–a roast-to-order coffee company located in Deerfield Beach, Florida—established a relationship several years ago as a result of Boca Java employees being impacted by the one of the blood cancers. Under the stewardship of president, Kevin Holbrook, the company will continue to support research and development for the treatment of the illnesses through strategic promotions.
“Meeting this milestone gives us all a wonderful feeling. The employees are aware of our efforts over the past several years and are proud to play a direct part in projects that do something really meaningful for families who are affected by leukemia and lymphoma. We’ve been touched by it here,” commented Holbrook.
The partnership is set to expand with several new online promotions Boca Java is about to launch, with a portion of all resulting sales going directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. “We are very excited about hitting the $75,000 mark, but we’re equally thrilled about exceeding it in the future,” said Holbrook.
