Derek Sanders Named Firm Associate at NorthShore Capital Advisors

Knoxville, TN, March 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Mike West, managing partner of NorthShore Capital Advisors (www.northshore-capital.com), a full-service mergers and acquisitions and business advisory firm, has announced that Derek Sanders has been promoted to firm associate. Sanders previously was an analyst with NorthShore. In his new role, he will focus on merger and acquisition transactions, develop financial models, provide market research and conduct valuation and value enhancement analysis.

Prior to joining NorthShore Capital Advisors, Sanders was a senior underwriter at FirstBank in Franklin, Tenn., where he assisted in creating a state-wide centralized underwriting division for small business and consumer loans. Sanders earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Tennessee; one in finance with a concentration in information management and the other in marketing with a concentration in international business. He graduated magna cum laude and from the University Honors Program. Sanders resides in Knoxville.
