Beneath the Clay: Short Stories and Photographs of Ireland

Cranford, NJ, March 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Author Tyler K. Hill will be on hand on Saturday, March 7th, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Hynes Jewelers, 2 Eastman Street, Cranford, to sign copies of Beneath the Clay. Recently published, Beneath the Clay is a sum of Mr.Hill's personal reminiscences of his many visits to Ireland. Beneath the Clay also features a selection of Mr.Hill's photographs of Ireland and the Irish. With the new millenium and a changed economy, much of the Ireland Mr.Hill describes no longer exists.

Mr.Hill will also appear at the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut, on Tuesday, March 10, at 7:30pm, where he will read from Beneath the Clay and present a selection of his photographs of Ireland. Copies of Beneath the Clay will be available for purchase and for signing. The program is sponsored by the Cranford Library. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Mr.Hill was born in Cranford in 1950 and graduated from Cranford High School in 1968. He majored in English and education in college before becoming operations manager for a major motion picture company in New York City. Mr.Hill traveled extensively in Europe for twenty years.
