March 4th Declared “Gentlemen, Hug Your Bride” Day by Michelle’s Angels Foundation

On March 4, 2009 on the anniversary of Michelle Renee Knoll’s death, that spirit of support will come full circle as Michelle’s Angels Foundation presents its first annual “Gentlemen, Hug Your Bride” Day.

Clarence, NY, March 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- At the 2008 memorial service for his wife Michelle Renee Knoll held in Nashville, TN, Herb Knoll lovingly remembered his wife – whom he always referred to as “my bride”. In that eulogy, Knoll encouraged the husbands in the church not to take for granted the presence of their wives by doing the one thing he could no longer do. “Gentlemen, hug your bride,” Knoll said.

The health struggles of Michelle Renee Knoll became well documented in her adopted community of Nashville, inspiring her friends and supporters to create a virtual prayer community for Michelle, her family as well as other patients and their families battling debilitating health crises. The community believed those suffering needed to know that someone cared.

The virtual community, know as Michelle’s Angels, now has hundreds of posted prayer requests and thousands people – mostly strangers from around the world and every different religion – actively praying for strength, comfort and relief on behalf of the sick, dying or deceased.

On March 4, 2009 on the anniversary of Michelle Renee Knoll’s death, that spirit of support will come full circle as Michelle’s Angels Foundation presents its first annual “Gentlemen, Hug Your Bride” Day.

“This special day is intended to remind all husbands who are still able to hug their brides to do so…and to never take their bride or the love they gift to them for granted.” said Herb Knoll, president of the Foundation. “Whether it’s a hug on the way out the door, a verbal hug over the phone during the day, a short note hug left on the counter for her to discover later or a gentle tender hug in the evening, brides everywhere deserve the appreciation hugs” added Knoll.
