2009 Ambassadors to the World Are Announced by the Board of Directors in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Daytona Beach, FL, March 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dawna Lee Heising, "Eye on Entertainment" executive producer, announced that the show’s latest segment contains an interview with Venus Day, a noted technology expert and the founder of the Ambassadorial Society of America. Ms. Day is the associate producer and webmaster of Eye on Excellence Productions.
Venus Day, founder and owner of The Ambassadorial Society of America, LLC, is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame in Computer Science and Economics. She is a member of Mensa and is a scientist and engineer who has undergone training for the Advanced Space Academy at the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Her husband, Dr. Ian Day, is the Chief of Staff and head of the Medical Executive Committee at Bert Fish Medical Center.
In a span of 15 years, Ms. Day rose from a Programmer/Analyst to Consultant to Associate Chief Engineer and COO to owning her own business. Ms. Day’s areas of expertise include large scale systems development and integration, systems security, standards compliance, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and Federal benefits and healthcare compliance/integrity program development. She has worked on projects with a diverse number of Federal agencies, including the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Defense (DoD), Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Fraud Investigations Units across the country.
Ms. Day has also traveled to Ddegeya Village in Uganda to install solar panels and purify water for the Engeye Medical Clinic. She has raised tens of thousands of dollars for charities around the world through her personal platform, Angels Amongst us, has volunteered at Give Kids the World, Conklin Centers for the Blind, Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, Dream-A-Wish, Women in Need and Global Orphanages and Foster Care Centers, among many other organizations. She has also been recognized for her volunteer work by Jeb Bush, the Governor of Florida. Ms. Day has also recently been accepted into the Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem as a postulant in the grade of Officer of the Order (OLJ).
She founded the Ambassadorial Society of America in 2006 to recognize excellence in the fields of Education; Medicine; Arts; Business; Technology; and Health and Science and those who actively participate in community service. Ambassadors are awarded fellowships on the basis of information supplied by nominators and state and national organizations. Spokespersons are finally appointed by the Board of Directors, and are judged heavily on their interview skills, community service and ongoing contributions to society.

¨ Penny Geiszler, International Ambassador 2009 - She is the publisher and owner of Turn for the Judges, an international online publication. She is in the International Who’s Who of Business and Professional Women
¨ Sarah Brightman of the United Kingdom, Honorary Universe Ambassador 2009 - Sarah Brightman in an internationally renowned singer who was the original Christine in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.
The emphasis of the Ambassadorial Society is on the nobility of the human spirit. Ms. Day believes that there is no greater service than that for one's God and Country, and is currently pursuing a Direct Commission into the Navy. The Board of Directors has also designated her with the distinguished title of Universe Ambassador Supermodel, in coordination with Supermodels Unlimited Magazine.
