Learn to Cook via Twitter @Sweetmandarin

New York, NY, March 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- What’s Twitter got to do with cooking? For the home cooks who end up tearing their hair out on what to cook read on or tweet on. Lisa Tse, CEO of Sweet Mandarin, an award winning restaurant and cookery school is tweeting you free recipes, cooking tips and a real time cookery school via Twitter (follow @sweetmandarin)

An everyday chore like cooking is getting fun with Lisa Tse’s instructions and useful tips such as ”rub chicken with potato starch to create velvety texture”. She has been teaching followers how to cook dim sum and stir fries with this innovative approach and cooking suddenly has a new meaning and the humdrum and pressures of everyday life evaporate.

Cookery classes are held every Saturday morning at Sweet Mandarin in Manchester, UK and attendees get a three hour master class on dim sum, stir fries and the secret of the sauces. The classes are hands-on with accompanying recipe sheets and a taster session lunch. The Sweet Mandarin Cookery School started in 2004 with Lisa teaching dim sum and Chinese cuisine at schools and catering colleges. The demand to extend her cooking classes to inquisitive parents and teachers led to the creation of a school for members of the public to learn the secrets of the wok in 2005. Lisa’s dedication and her passion for people, business and food have led to her winning the Prowess Businesswoman of the Year Award 2008.

The Sweet Mandarin Cookery School caters for all levels of cooking. In particular, Sweet Mandarin specializes in special events for schools, parties (including hen parties) and corporate team building events. For more information see the website sweetmandarin dot com.
