(www.GAORFID.com) presents this advanced UHF Gen 2 passive RFID tag (GAO116032) specially designed for the tracking of any medium-sized livestock, however, its shape is specially designed for use with pigs. Tagging the animal gives the ability to monitor each animal's feeding, location, vaccination and health history, etc. The RFID tag has an IP67 rating and is EPC compliant, thus the ear tag addresses both applications that demand high anti-collision rates and have harsh environments making it an ideal choice for tracking pigs.

This Gen 2 RFID pig ear tag shows robust performance over the entire UHF bandwidth and operates reliably in dense reader environments while maintaining optimum read range. This animal ear tag also offers a unique custom command set, which offers security and eases communication between the transponder and RFID readers.
