Skinomi Launches Official Online Store for "TechSkin"
Skinomi, LLC launches the Skinomi Store (www.skinomi.com) online, where their premiere product, TechSkin, is now readily available for purchase.
Los Angeles, CA, March 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- After nearly 3 months of development, the new e-commerce store is ready to compete in the cell phone and electronic device accessories market with TechSkin. Skinomi.com will feature a catalog of TechSkins designed to protect various cell phone and gadget models from scratches and daily wear-and-tear.
Skinomi manufacturers what is dubbed "the next generation of scratch protection." Each TechSkin product is custom cut to cover the screen and body of the device it's made for. With twice the thickness (0.08 millimeters) of film over the competition, the TechSkin offers maximum scratch protection for various cell phones, LCD screens, and electronic devices. TechSkin also contains a patented extra layer of UV protection, another aspect that makes it unique.
Skinomi started as a local operation in the Los Angeles area back in 2006, offering custom cut screen protectors for their customers. In 2007, the 2 partners decided to streamline their product and sell it online through various auction sites. Due to an overwhelming response, Skinomi added a third partner in the mix, and officially incorporated in 2008.
Upon incorporation, Skinomi decided to cease selling in auction sites and began development of their own website. The decision was made to further strengthen the "Skinomi" and "TechSkin" brand through an official company website, Skinomi.com. TechSkin will still be availble for purchase outside of Skinomi.com through various resellers.
