Schmohz Achilles 5k - April 18, 2009

Grand Rapids, MI, March 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Schmohz, home of Hopknocker, Bonecrusher, Amber Tease, and Treasure Chest, and our racing brew, Achilles; Proudly presents to the increasing number of runners, beer drinking runners that is, Achilles Ale providing a lighter easy drinking ale. Refreshing and exhilarating during and after the race, Enjoy an Achilles.

It’s a Family event, bring the kids for their first 5K, (or possibly their best 5K) and enjoy the refreshing old fashion taste of their very own root beer.

Net proceeds from the race will benefit Michigan Special Olympics. Additional donations may be made on race day.

This 5K event is organized and directed by the Schmohz Running Crew and Brewery staff. The course is accurately measured and marked. The 3.1mile course is 3 loops, with a water/beer station on each lap. For those brave runners looking for some extra carbs during the race, Achilles Ale will be available along with the water. The course has a few hills, a few turns, a few trees but other than that it couldn’t be more ideal.
