Surreallistic Travel Website Gets the Recognition It Deserves
Surreallistic website gets Houston production company top award recognition. The website is a visual experience that is a direct reflection of the DreamMaker's Experiential Vacations.

IMMIX Productions, a Houston-based media production company, walked away with top honors on Sat., February 22, 2009 at the 46th Annual Houston Advertising Federation ADDY Awards. IMMIX was awarded the ADDY's 2009 Best of Show Award as well as a Gold Award for Interactive Media - Websites Over $50,000 Category.
“Everyone put a lot of heart into this project and by winning the Best of Show award means we’ve done more for our client than just building a brilliant site,” said Shane Devall, President. “We work hard to exceed the expectations of all of our clients, and I think this award really recognizes our ability to artfully combine true creativity with revolutionary technical applications.”
IMMIX Productions was honored for the work it had done developing the web site for DreamMaker, LLC, a division of Gregory Patrick Worldwide. In designing the DreamMaker site, http://www.dreammakerllc.com, IMMIX created a surreal exploration of experiential travel. Every page of the website is an experience, filled with stunning visuals, pictures, music, and poetry.
“The DreamMaker doesn’t just give you a vacation,” said Devall. “He handcrafts a story for you, and designs an experience beyond your imagination. We wanted to translate his way of thinking into each page of the website. Every page is unique and over-the-top – just like the DreamMaker’s vacations. We used over 1000 pictures, 80 sound tracks and 70 graphic animation pages and that are took quite some time to produce. A lot of love went into this site.”
“IMMIX” literally means a mixture of different elements. The IMMIX name represents the company’s work ranging from branding to print design, to presentations, to 3D animation and to application development.
