Morton Grove Action Party Hosts Campaign Rally & Fundraising Event
Morton Grove, IL, March 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Due to the overwhelming response of a “Meet the Candidates” event sponsored by the Morton Grove Action Party that took place on February 22, a second afternoon has been set aside for residents to have some fun, meet the candidates, and talk about the future of Morton Grove. Close to one hundred attendees met and chatted with the Action Party candidates at their first fundraising event, which was held at the Charcoal Oven Restaurant in Skokie, Illinois.
The second campaign rally will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Classic Bowl, 8530 Waukegan Road, Morton Grove. Come share your concerns and hopes for the Village as you spend some one-on-one time meeting the Action Party slate of candidates. Learn more about the candidates’ vision for the future of Morton Grove.
A sumptious selection of tasty snacks and a full cash bar will be provided for attendees at the event. A donation of $20 per person is requested (couples can attend for just $35.00). The Action Party candidates for the April 7, 2009 municipal election are Daniel J. Staackmann for Village President; Tony S. Kalogerakos for Village Clerk; Daniel P. DiMaria, Larry Gomberg, and Bill Grear for Village Trustees.
