Facility Group Named Recipient of Engineering Excellence Award

Atlanta, GA, March 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Atlanta-based Facility Group has received an Engineering Excellence Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia (ACEC/G).

The award, part of the annual Engineers Week, recognizes Facility Group’s ONEsource planning, design and construction management for the development of the Cherokee County Administrative Building and Conference Center in Canton, Ga.

The $22 million, three-story administration building spans approximately 77,000 square feet and includes a conference center with an 8,000 square foot ballroom. The Cherokee County Administrative Building and Conference Center serves as a single location for many of Cherokee County’s departments, including the Board of Commissioners, County Manager, County Clerk, purchasing, business licenses, property management and fire marshal.
