MoreBeach.com Announces Summer Writing & Photo Contest on Theme of "Summer Fishing"
MoreBeach.com announces its summer 2006 writing and photo contest on theme of "Summer Fishing."
Orleans, MA, July 13, 2006 --(PR.com)-- MoreBeach.com (http://morebeach.com) announces its first annual "Summer Fishing" photo and writing contest. Fishermen and their friends are invited to submit photographs (prints or digital) and words (from haiku to essays: 10 words to 1,000) that capture the experience of fishing in summertime. Summer fishing is about simple pleasures: surf casting at dawn, a child’s first fish, the big one caught and the one that got away.
All entries will be published at MoreBeach.com. The winner in each category will receive $200 (one writer, one photographer). Three runner ups in each category will each receive $25. Entries will be judged by the editorial staff of MoreBeach.com on the basis of how well they capture the summer fishing experience. All entries are welcomed and appreciated.
Entries must be received prior to Labor Day, September 4th 2006. Entries may be submitted electronically via email to: fishing2006@morebeach.com or via the online contest form at http://www.morebeach.com/contests/2006_fishing_contest/fishing_contest_entry_form.html
There is no limit to the number of entries that may be submitted. Winners will be announced two weeks after contest ends.
