Mindgrub Launches New Mario Armstrong Site TechTechBoom.com
TechTechBoom was conceived and designed with help from local high school students to provide insight into the interests and needs of their peers while developing an online community designed to inspire middle and high-school students to pursue STEM academics and careers.
Ellicott City, MD, March 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Mindgrub Technologies has partnered with Mario Armstrong Media and, with the help of several high school students hired to provide their unique perspective, created the first STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) website for teens that will act as a hub for students to find information on news, events, colleges and careers in related industries.
Mindgrub President and founder, Todd Marks, a former High School Math and Computer Science teacher, combined his knowledge of education and technology to assist in creating TechTechBoom.com. The website was released and presented by Mario Armstrong at a local convention center to a crowd of over 1700 teens.
TechTechBoom offers a broad range of information that high school students focusing on science and technology will find interesting and helpful. Students have at their fingertips a multitude of educational information including STEM college reviews, homework help, access to mentors and the top STEM careers and internships. The site also lists current STEM related News & Events with topics ranging from President Obama, today’s hottest technologies, and upcoming Tech Camps and Seminars.
TechTechBoom offers plenty of information beyond that of the educational and career variety. Users will find “Contests” and questions from other users to “Distractions” with quizzes, polls, and games to help pass the time. If that isn’t enough to occupy you, visit the Lounge and share videos, audio, and photos with other users.
