Feminist writer, Susan Borgeson, has a short book of 'poems' culled from 32 years of writing to Tom Waits. Proceeds to go to NAMI, National Alliance for the Mentally Ill.
Portland, OR, March 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- At the tender young age of 21, writer Susan Borgeson was writing radio copy at station KBDF in Eugene, Oregon. The year was 1977, and musician Tom Waits was touring his "Small Change" release. The two met and the rest is history.
With a kiss goodbye and subsequent numerous hospitalizations for mental illness, Borgeson has continued writing Waits over the past 32 years.
