Lone Tree, CO, March 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Elizabeth Bublitz, author and creator of Pawfriendly Landscapes, will be lecturing about coyote prevention and creating pet friendly yards on, April 26, 2009 in Lone Tree, Colorado. Elizabeth was invited by the city of Lone Tree to be a guest speaker at their Arbor Day celebration from 9am - 12pm.
Elizabeth explains, "I was so excited to hear that I can discuss coyote prevention to front range residents. Many people in Denver believe the only solution is to shoot them. I have other solutions."
An employee from the City of Lonetree attended Elizabeth's lecture at the Garden & Home Show in February, 2009 where spoke about coyote prevention. Elizabeth explains, "Since we specialize with animals in backyards, last year we had numerous calls about coyote prevention and addressed each one of them. Most of my clients saw coyote in their backyard when they were letting their dogs in or out, they were very frightened." She continues, "Leashes and fences are lifesavers for dogs. If people use leashes on their dogs or have a fence installed, they could prevent coyote attacks. Also, if they kept all their dogs food, cat food, rawhides and cats inside. Many people inadvertantly feed coyote which attracts them. My seminar will address this issue among others."
