thecentre:mk Shopping Centre Serious Service Award Winner is Cool About Going the Extra Mile...and the Extra Hour
Sebastian Giambrone from Gamestation is the latest winner of thecentre:mk’s Serious Service Award for February winning a Coca-Cola fridge for his efforts. Sebastian didn’t just go the extra mile he went the extra hour staying after his shift to provide excellent customer service.
Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, March 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Sebastian earned praise from the customer he served for staying late to ensure he went away with everything he needed recommending an alternative product which would best suit his needs. The nomination described how “It’s not that often that you find someone who goes far out of their way to solve problems presented to them” and how Sebastian was “...a credit to himself and the company."
“This is really unexpected,” commented on Sebastian on being presented with his prize of a Coca-Cola fridge. “This is my job and all I tried to do was ensure the customer got the best product possible. I knew that I was due to go home but the atmosphere with the rest of the staff is so easy and friendly that it doesn’t feel like work. I just wanted to give the same service I always do, regardless of when my shift ended.”
Sebastian is now entered into the Annual Serious Service award and will be joined by the other monthly winners. The customer who nominated Sebastian also received a Coca-Cola branded fridge.
The Serious Service Awards aim to encourage customer feedback and highlight great customer service examples from retailing staff. Customers are able to nominate staff from individual stores recognising excellent customer service skills. Once nominated both the member of the public and the person nominated have the chance of winning prizes supplied by Coca-Cola.
