Sibyl Systems Now Offering "Remote Technical Support"
Sibyl Systems starts new service offering, remote technical support, to its client base.
Syracuse, NY, March 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Beginning Monday March 16, 2009 Sibyl Systems will begin offering remote technical support in its regular service offering. Prior to this announcement Sibyl had only offered remote support to larger enterprise customers.
Sibyl Systems President John Rice stated "We decided to roll this offering out to the whole of our client base for several reasons, one being financial. At this time our nation is going through the worst economic downturn since the great depression, and some clients or potential clients may be experiencing issues with their computer equipment and may not be able to afford a full scale on-site service call, and by doing it remotely Sibyl Systems can still deliver our award winning customer service but at a reduced price. Another reason we chose to being offering this is because some of our clients require their employees to travel outside our existing service areas, and once again by offering remote service the client knows that the problem will be handled properly and will not have to seek out a temporary, unproven company to assist them." At the time of this release Sibyl Systems has not offered the service pricing although Rice did state it will be significantly lower than a regular service event.
Sibyl Systems has partnered with Crossloop, a California based company, to provide application support. Crossloop utilizes a modified version of TightVNC to establish a connection between computers. During the session Sibyl Systems encrypts the data sent across the computers ensuring that the security stays intact. Data is encrypted using a 128-bit Blowfish encryption algorithm.
Initially, this service will be offered only in Sibyl Systems regular service area, that being Central and Western New York, but will push it out nationwide by 2010. Rice commented " We are going to market this new system nationwide by the start of 2010 to coincide with our planned national on-site service rollout."
