The established and semi-established markets like Spain, Cyprus, and Portugal, have completely taken over from emerging markets like Montenegro and Albania in terms of buyer interest”.
"This is because there have been marked reductions in prices in the established and semi-established markets, and even if the reduction in prices isn't noticeable by advertised prices, savvy buyers know they can pick up a bargain if they offer wisely. Whereas there has been very little in the way of price-drops in the emerging markets, where investors favour off plan property, and developers are keen to see if things recover, and perhaps only drop prices if necessary when the development is complete."
