About the Author

Washington earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Jackson State College in 1961. He completed the Masters of Science Degree in Health Education at Southern Illinois University in 1965. Four years later he had completed the manuscript for this book chronicling the first thirty years of his life: what he had accomplished; how he felt and what he believed about the issues presented in this book. And with great pleasure, he will publish it for public consumption. His work experience include two years as a high school teacher in his hometown of West Point, Mississippi from 1962-1964. Washington worked five years at the State University of New York as a special programs administrator and assistant dean of students from 1965-1969. He worked for twenty years as a Corporate Education and Training Consultant for General Motors in Flint, Michigan from 1970-1991. Finally, he worked seventeen years as a tennis coach for his children from 1991-2008.
