Boone County Arboretum Unveils New Logo for 10th Anniversary
Where Fun and Family Take Root
Union, KY, March 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Boone County Arboretum today unveils its new logo. The logo was created by Eisen Marketing Group (EMG) and celebrates the tenth anniversary of the dedication of the Arboretum on May 1, 1999.
“We are ecstatic to have a fresh logo incorporated into the Arboretum just in time for our tenth anniversary,” marketing and events coordinator Laura Kline said. “The logo goes with our goal of inspiring children and families to
experience and enjoy the magic of nature.”
Boone County Arboretum has grown in ten years from a small walking trail to encompass a Children’s Garden, a wildlife viewing area and Woodland Walking Trail. The Arboretum also offers programs and events for students and interns to gain practical work experience and learn about horticulture.
“The Arboretum offers families and groups the surroundings to relax in and take time out of their busy lives,” EMG president Rodger Roeser said. “We are proud to help out such a worthwhile organization and provide them their new logo and tag line ‘Where Fun and Family Take Root’.”
The Arboretum was selected as one of Eisen Marketing Group’s Operation: Outreach 2008 winners and has received pro bono branding, marketing and public relations services from EMG. EMG has committed more than $50,000 worth of time and talent to the Operation: Outreach program winners in 2008 alone.

The Boone County Arboretum at Central Park is the nation’s first arboretum within an active recreation park setting. The Arboretum is located just 25 miles southwest of downtown Cincinnati in Union, Kentucky. The Arboretum encompasses 121 acres and has over 2 miles of paved walking trails that wind through various plant collections, woodland settings, and athletic fields. Special attractions at the Arboretum include the Children’s Garden, a wildlife viewing area in their Native Kentucky Prairie, and the new Woodland Walking Trail.
