Applied Tactics Holds New Tech Show-and-Tell in McLean, Virginia
Applied Tactics gives leading industry high tech firms an opportunity to present new products and services.
Leesburg, VA, March 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Applied Tactics held another New Tech Show-and-Tell where innovators from the IT industry including VMware, Intel, NextGen, Hitachi, GigaTrust and Sun Microsystems presented their newest state-of-the- art products.
“It is always wonderful to reach new audiences and speak about our new products coming to market”, said Ross Shariati, President of NextGen and one of the speakers. “The audience was an excellent cross section of technology professionals, and both federal and private entities were represented.”
“We like to hold these sessions every three months or so to allow IT professionals to learn about new technology in an informal setting. Staying up-to-date on recent trends is becoming more difficult as the technology sector becomes more segmented, and social networking sites like Facebook continue to supplant our means of communicating,” said Joan Strahler, Applied Tactics’ Director of Business Development. “The session also allowed time for networking, a very important opportunity for everyone during trying economic times. “
David Kamminga, CEO of applied Tactics added, “Joan and I are expanding this type of show-and-tell from the Technology Sector into other areas. Our next focus will likely be in the New Media industry as it is constantly evolving and continually creating new ideas, companies and products. “
Applied Tactics is a small Loudoun County company servicing the federal and commercial workspace with web site hosting, maintenance and design, 508 Compliance and Microsoft SharePoint development.
