Local Author Publishes Book About Worldwide Spiritual Phenomenon

Santa Rosa, CA, March 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Sonoma County California author J. Scott Husted has written his first book about a burgeoning worldwide spiritual phenomenon, The House of Prayer, and published it with Lulu.com, the online marketplace for publishing and digital content.

Mr. Husted, who presently lives between California and South Korea developing high quality educational alternatives for children internationally, is a watcher of the international spiritual and cultural scene. He has become surprised and excited to encounter a spiritual phenomenon that has been rising on every continent in recent years. The book, “The Establishment: David’s fallen tent and God’s end-time house of prayer”, takes a look at a surprising movement among people around the world who are reaching for something more than traditional religious frameworks, and are boldly using the power of prayer and social justice to bring help to their cities and to international crises.

Stacey Campbell, Canadian minister and spiritual leader, comments: “This book contains amazing descriptions of the way earth interacts with heaven through prayer. It is packed with prophetic revelation! This word has got to get out to the world!”

The book begins with some personal experiences that drew the author into an awareness of the House of Prayer. It then outlines some research the author has done as to the historic significance of this new phenomenon, from ancient cultures to modern spiritual practice. It goes on to describe this phenomenon in its many aspects, especially for creating communities of compassion and change for the least in the world.
