Ameritrust Mortgage Hires New Chief Financial Officer; Announces 30 Percent Staff Growth

Charlotte, NC, March 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Charlotte-based residential mortgage company, Ameritrust Mortgage, has added David Oshan as Chief Financial Officer effective March 2, 2009. Oshan’s addition to the executive team underscores the company’s solid performance and growth strategy.

Oshan’s position marks the 25th new hire for Ameritrust in the past four months– a 30 percent staff increase – and recruiting continues.

As Chief Financial Officer, Oshan is charged with overseeing budgeting processes, forecasting, analysis and financial reporting, and increasing credit lines for Ameritrust, one of the leading independent residential mortgage retailers in Charlotte. “Ameritrust’s balance of empathy, accountability and competition brings incredible opportunities for the organization,” says Oshan.

Oshan brings over 15 years of leadership in the areas of financial strategy, budget management, systems, and analysis to the position. Most recently, Oshan was responsible for financial analysis and budget management as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Equifirst Mortgage.

Prior to Equifirst, Oshan was Director of Decision Support at HSBC Decision One Mortgage. He holds an MBA from Baylor University, a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Massachusetts, and currently lives in Clover S.C. with his wife.
